The four-acre project will include various resort amenities, including a Resident Clubhouse, "resort style" water attractions, and an events center.

Water attractions will include a "beach entry" resort pool, a lazy river pool, a splash pad, private cabanas, poolside food and drink service from outdoor bars, an outdoor movie screen, and 40-foot tall water slides.

Residents of Montecillo and their guests will have access to the resort area, as will those staying at an adjacent Marriott branded hotel. No details are yet available regarding the size of the hotel.

According to the developer, EPT Land Communities, construction will commence within six months, in the fall. This is the latest in a string of large projects announced for Montecillo, which previously revealed that a Topgolf venue will be opening up at the development.

  1. I read about this new resort on Saturday on my El Paso Inc. subscription and unlike the Meyers Group with their pie-in-the-sky Shadow Mountain Tower;
    these are done plans!
    It's a beautiful resort on the westside of town that is to include a Marriott Hotel and it will be built as mentioned.
    "Welcome back, El Paso Development News"

  2. I hope the Meyers Group sells out the Shadow Mountain Towers at above asking price!

    1. The Meyers Group is not going to build any towers over at Shadow Mountain, especially not at the price they are asking for each condominium for $1 million to $2 million. So they probably be selling the property to another developer, I hope some developer builds strip joint night clubs to make up for the shuttered Naked Harem.

  3. This will be an amazing addition to El paso and to the Monteciello community!

    1. This resort is looking so wonderful and everything is available in the one building. Most people need this kind of the resort which gives australianwritings assignment writing service with all the things that need people. The reason is that people want to spend the good day.

  4. Good to have you back EPDN!! And this project looks very exciting for this community.
