Another restaurant option is opening soon at the Fountains at Farah in East El Paso. P.F. Chang's China Bistro will open in late August at the shopping center.

P.F. Chang's will open August 29, 2016, at the Fountains at Farah in East El Paso, the third restaurant opening in August at the center. (Fountains at Farah)

According to the restaurant chain's website, the grand opening is scheduled for August 29, 2016, on the Promenade level of the Fountains.

This is the next in a string of restaurant openings at the center, which offers a mix of big box and lifestyle areas on two different levels. Bricktown Tap House & Kitchen opened earlier this month while Ruth's Chris Steak House is scheduled to open August 15.

  1. One thing that El Paso could really use is a genuine quality real Chinese Cuisine restaurant! I happen to love Chinese food and I know what I'm looking for and what my taste buds want.I've stumbled into a few mediocre Chinese food restaurants in the past six years since I moved back to El Paso. P.F. Chang use to advertise on San Francisco TV commercials, they even had this talking Panda Bear.If some Chinese Restaurant makes good Hong Kong Style combination Pan Fried Noodles, even the noodles have to be thin and saute just right, squid, shrimp, bbq pork, chicken, beef, fried crispy pancit noodles in rich tasty sauce with assorted vegetables including green beans, carrots and broccoli.Or What about Birds Nest Soup? Is P.F. Chang something like Marie Callender's? that is to be determined,Aug 29th Huh?

    2. I wasn't aware of it,Thanks Brandon! um you happen to know of any good Chinese eateries in town? I don't think that there are any actual authentic Chinese restaurants in El Paso.I don't care for the larger self service buffet style restaurants.Found some smaller Chinese restaurants on the eastside of town, some use to deliver, but then they changed ownership and all the good tasty quality food went with it including my favorite Hong kong style pan fried noodles.I'll probably still try PF sometime in the near future.
